Sue Limon showed a sample of the wood blinds recommended by the committee for the clubhouse window treatments. The actual color of the blinds will be white. The committee considered vertical blinds, shades, and faux wood horizontal blinds. The wood blinds are guaranteed for life, lighter in weight than the faux wood, and come with a wider cornice. The cost of the wood blinds is $4,700 and the cost of the faux wood blinds is $4,300. The committee recommends the wood blinds.
Motion by Sue Limon to accept bid from Affordable Blinds for $4,700, for 2-1/2” wood blinds with 4-1/2” cornice for the windows in the meeting room, kitchen, library and billiard room. The motion was seconded by Al Fishman and carried unanimously 4-0.
